La niña en brazos de ese hombre está muerta, pero bajo los escombros que vemos detrás habrían de salir 56 cadáveres más, 36 de los cuales de niños y niñas como ella. Tanta acumulación de injusticia me envenena la sangre y no puedo evitar comentar lo que siento.
Gernika y Qana tienen más en común que el triste hecho de pertenecer al club de bombardeos sobre población civil totalmente indefensa. La ciudad vasca probó parte del armamento nazi que apenas unos pocos meses después habría de masacrar, entre muchísimos otros grupos (que a veces parece que sólo fueron unos), a los judíos europeos.
